Dr. Qaisur Rabbi


Dr. Qaisur Rabbi started his carrier in orthopedic surgery in 2013 after passing D-Orth from Mymensingh Medical College. In the first few years of his carrier, he used to practice adult orthopedics. In 2018 he got interested in pediatric orthopedic surgery with the magic touch of Dr. Sarwar Ibne Salam. In the year 2019, Dr. Qaisur Rabbi completed his year-long clinical fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery under the direct guidance of Dr. Maulin M. Shah from Ahmedabad, India. After super-specialty training from abroad, he started his practice in Health and Hope Hospital, Panthapath, Dhaka.


He is a member of Bangladesh Orthopedic Society (BOS), Pediatric Orthopedic Society of Bangladesh (POSB), a life member of Pediatric Orthopedic Society of India (POSI), and Assistant Editor of International Journal of Pediatric Orthopedics (IJPO). He is also the author and co-author of several articles published in national and international journals. He also co-authors a book “Clubfoot Treatment Guide for Parents” to ease the sufferings and answer the common questions that arise in parents with babies suffering from Clubfoot.


Since 2019, he is involved with the treatment of hundreds of children suffering from congenital and acquired deformity and metabolic bone diseases. He is currently working with children suffering from-




  • Cerebral Palsy (CP)

  • Club Feet

  • Pediatric trauma (fracture and dislocation of bones and joints)

  • Congenital limb deformity (absent and abnormal limb, knock knee, bowlegs)

  • Metabolic bone diseases (rickets)

  • Normal limb variance (short limb, abnormal gait)

  • Obstetrical brachial plexus palsy (OBPI)- Nerve injury during childbirth.
