About Dr. Md. Shafiullah Prodhan
Dr. Md. Shafiullah Prodhan, Chairman and Consultant at DPRC Ltd., is a renowned rehab-physio specialist with over two decades of experience. As a top academic performer, he earned district-level scholarships and completed his BSPT from NITOR under Dhaka University’s Faculty of Medicine. He holds an MS in Disability and Rehabilitation from Bangladesh and a PhD from India, with his research focusing on the comparative study of back pain in urban and rural populations.
Beginning his career as a lecturer at Bangladesh Medical College in 2004, Dr. Prodhan now serves as an associate professor at the International Institute of Health Sciences (IIHS). An accomplished researcher, he has numerous publications in prestigious medical journals and has presented at seminars across Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, and Thailand.
As the founder vice president of the Bangladesh Physiotherapy Society (BPS) and a consultant to renowned organizations like the Bangladesh Tennis Federation, Dr. Prodhan has played a vital role in advancing physiotherapy nationwide. He frequently appears on TV and in other media, raising awareness about non-surgical treatments for pain, paralysis, arthritis, and disabilities. His dedication to improving patient outcomes with modern physiotherapy techniques continues to inspire many.
